Evolution vs Intelligent Design theory

I used to believe in Evolution and defended its theory. But the more I think about this theory, the more I feel how rediculous this theory is.
There are many scientists shows the probability of one species evolve to another. The number is so huge, it compares to a blind man try to find randomly dropped needle in the middle of Texas.
There are many branches of Evolution theory but I believe most of them if not all oppose Intelligent Design, so one way to discredit Evolution is to show Intelligent Design exists.
Let's say you go to a forest and suddenly you see a pencil. You know 100 percents without any doubt that that pencil made by an Intelligent being. There is no way, by accident given enough time, nature could have created yellow painted pencil with eraser at one end and sharp lead at another.
If we believe there is no way nature can create that pencil, then how can we believe it created human being.
